Our favorites of 2011
So we’ve almost knocked down 2011 and as it’s been with most years, there’s been a lot of music released that we’ve enjoyed. This year we enlisted the help of Jarret Green of The Otto Modest. Jarret’s written much about about music and is likely the most obsessive music fan we know. Enjoy. Or not. Just read, watch, and listen.

Anamanaguchi guest DJ for the show!
Zomg. The Brooklyn band is on the road and will be playing The Anvil in Farmington, MO on Wednesday, April 13th. Pete Berkman joined us by phone to talk about the band, the 8-bit scene, Shibuya-kei and more. He also brought along some crazy tracks from Capsule, Unicorn Kid, and The Death Set. The Otto Modest live at krcu
The St. Louis band stopped by to play some songs from their latest EP, titled City 9.They tucked in their large sound to fit within the modest walls of our studio and the results are unique and amazing.
